AJPE 481x block

The new 481x block designed by John Rodeck and Alan Johnson. An entirely new concept in racing engines. The design features utilized provide a superior basis to build the ultimate supercharged alcohol racing engine. Massive bottom end strength is provided by proven cross bolt design similar to the Rodeck TFX which dominates Top Fuel racing today. Raised camshaft and relocated lifters provide clearance for longer stroke crankshafts, and optimum push rod / valvetrain geometry. The latest CAD CAM design ensures the utmost strength while eliminating excess weight where possible. Front mounted ignition drive, combined with external oil pump make maintenance easier, while using readily available magnetos and pumps. These blocks are fully lightened on both front & rear, at no extra charge.
